Preachings
The previous two sections of this website contained teachings on some of the core doctrine in relation to salvation and the life of the disciples. In this section we will present a more detailed preaching on various topics as the Lord has delivered them to us.
From Heaven or of Men? We all know that the children of Israel were people who were chosen by God specifically for his glory according to his eternal purpose. He often said to them that it was not because they were mightier or great in number than other nations that he had chosen them but while they were weak and few in number. Their vulnerability was the liability when the Lord chose them to show that He is almighty and awesome God... click here for more
The Armour and Protection of God. This aspect of faith is often ignored due to being widely misunderstood. Truly the Lord is our protector but we also need to realise that we need to make Jesus our refuge, our strong tower, our defence and last but not least our Father. We can only do that through putting on the whole armour of God which in turn offers us a protection that is beyond measure or understanding... click here for more
Comprehending Baptism. Many people think only of Matthew 28 with reference to the great commission. However, there was a reason why the four gospels were written – Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Therefore, it is only when the messages written in the four gospels regarding baptism are brought together that we can clearly understand... click here for more
Beware of prosperity gospel preachers! It is hard for those who trust in their riches to enter into the kingdom of God. It is even easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God. This does not mean that all rich people cannot enter into the kingdom of God but those who trust in their riches... click here for more
Pilgrims. There are a few occasions where the Bible mentions pilgrims and being on a pilgrimage. But before examining these, let’s see how the world perceives the meaning of the word pilgrim. The Oxford English Dictionary defines a pilgrim as: “A person who journeys to a sacred place for religious reasons”, “A person travelling to a place of particular personal interest”... click here for more
Checking for the truth. I have come across people from all walks of life asking, “How do I know who is preaching the true gospel of Jesus Christ?” This question seems difficult to answer as every religion claims that they have all the truth, but others don’t. Therefore, it is very important to know the ways to identify the truth from the lies and the prophets of God from the false prophets.... click here for more
Tithes and Offerings. I would like to make clear right from the beginning that this message is intended to reach only those who know that there is only one God manifested in His heavenly flesh (the word became flesh), have faith in Him, have repented, have been baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins and have been filled with the Holy Spirit evidenced with speaking in tongues, the fruits of the Spirit and ... click here for more
Test the spirits whether they are of God. Many denominations and "movements claim that they have inherited the early apostolic legacy. They try to demonstrate this through emphasizing what Jesus did rather than the person of Jesus himself. It looks a bit like those who crucified Jesus but shared his garment among themselves. Which was worthy of having? Was it Jesus or the garment? click here for more
Conformed to the Image of Christ. There are many occasions where the Bible urges us to be conformed to the image of Christ and become like Him in everything. To understand the meaning of conforming to Christ, we need to examine His identity from a different perspective and grasp His holy nature... click here for more
What is the Great Commission? The great commission is the last words that Jesus gave to the eleven disciples as to what they should do after He ascends to heaven. This is commonly misunderstood to be contained in the Gospel of Matthew only. While the Gospel of Matthew has parts of the great commission, it does not contain the fullness of the commandments that Jesus gave to his apostles. These are found across all the four Gospels... click here for more
Baptism does now also save us. There was a man of the Pharisees, called Nicodemus, who came to Jesus in the night because of his fear from the fellow Pharisees. He was a disciple of Jesus Christ in secret. He told Jesus that unless He was a teacher who came down from God, Jesus would not have been able to do the things which He did. However, Jesus changed the topic completely and spoke about the necessity of being born again... click here for more
Knowing the Identity of Jesus, does it really matter? Many people may truly want to be saved or genuinely believe that they are already saved. Mostly, such desires and believes are baseless as they usually lack a clear understanding of what God said it takes to gain salvation. Therefore, I am going to present the necessity of knowing the true identity of Jesus Christ... click here for more
The Mystery of Baptism and the blood of Jesus. Many people claim that baptism has no role in God’s plan of salvation. They are trying to support such a claim by saying that it is just water and can’t possibly wash away our sins. These people even take this further to say that baptism is a bath or shower. All these claims and reasons are the exact opposite of what the bible says... click here for more
